Description:

Power aluminum cable AVVG is a demanded type of cable products, more affordable than a cable with a copper core. The conductor insulation is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The cable sheath is also PVC. Aluminum conductor.

Application :

They are intended for the transfer of the electric power in the stationary installations for a rated alternating voltage of 660 V and 1000 V with a frequency of 50 Hz.They are applied at the laying in blocks, on the specialized cable tray systems, in industrial rooms, distributive and lighting devices, and also in the usual inhabited rooms as the electric wiring. Moreover, they are widely used in dacha projects.It is not recommended to lay the cable in the ground, laying in the ground is allowed only with the use of mechanical protection.

INTERPRETATION :

The aluminum power cable has an alphanumeric designation, which contains the main parameters of the product:

A – the conductor through which the current flows is made of aluminum;
V – polyvinylchloride insulation;
V – PVC compound sheath;
G – without protective coating (armor);
«ng» – does not support combustion;
«ngd» – does not support combustion, with reduced smoke and gas emission.

TECHNICAL :

– Rated alternating voltage: 0.66/1 kV;
– Rated frequency: 50 Hz;
– Minimum permissible bending radius during laying: 10 cable diameters (for single-core cable), 7.5 cable diameters (for multi-core cable);
– Ambient temperature during cable operation: from -50 ° С to 50 °С;
– Resistance to high relative humidity at ambient temperatures up to 35 °C: – 98%
– Minimum temperature of cable laying without preheating -15 ° С

Permissible heating temperatures of cable conductors:
– Long-term permissible 70 °С
– In overload mode 90 °С
– Limit at short circuit 160 °С
– According to the condition of non-combustion at short circuit 350 °С
