Description
Our N2XSEY – YJV cables are meticulously engineered to deliver superior performance. They feature high-quality copper conductors, designed as class 2 circular compacted strands for optimal current transmission. Each conductor is expertly enveloped by a non-metallic, semi-conducting compound screen.
The core insulation is provided by robust cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), ensuring excellent dielectric strength and long operational life. An additional non-metallic, semi-conducting compound serves as the insulation screen. For enhanced protection and safety, a highly effective copper tape metallic screen (CTS) is integrated. Inside the cable, non-hygroscopic materials act as fillers and binders, preventing moisture ingress and maintaining structural integrity.
The exterior is safeguarded by a durable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) outer sheath, offering reliable resistance against external elements. Gongniu Cable’s commitment to quality ensures these cables exhibit exceptional electrical and mechanical properties, delivering minimal dielectric loss and high insulation resistance for reliable power transmission.
Specification
Gongniu Cable ensures that these N2XSEY – YJV cables comply with stringent international standards. This includes IEC 60228 for conductors of insulated cables, guaranteeing conductor quality and performance.
Furthermore, they adhere to IEC 60502-2, which covers power cables with extruded insulation and their accessories. Specifically, this standard applies to rated voltages from 1kV (Um=1.2kV) up to 30kV (Um=36kV), ensuring reliable performance across a wide range of medium voltage applications.
