  • Construction Details:
    • Conductor: The cable features Class 2 circular compacted aluminum conductors for effective power transmission.
    • Conductor Screen: A non-metallic, semi-conducting compound forms the conductor screen.
    • Insulation: We use Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) for superior insulation.
    • Insulation Screen: Similar to the conductor screen, the insulation screen is a non-metallic, semi-conducting compound.
    • Metallic Screen: A copper tape screen (CTS) provides reliable metallic screening.
    • Filler: The cable includes a non-hygroscopic filler material.
    • Inner Sheath: A layer of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) serves as the inner sheath.
    • Armor: Steel tape armoring (STA) is incorporated to protect the cable from mechanical stress.
    • Outer Sheath: The cable is finished with a durable Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) outer sheath.
  • Key Characteristics: This Gongniu Cable product delivers good electrical and mechanical properties. It is designed for minimal dielectric loss and offers high insulation resistance, contributing to efficient and safe operation.   • IEC 60228: This standard pertains to the conductors of insulated cables, ensuring our conductors meet quality benchmarks.
  • IEC 60502-2: This specification applies to power cables with extruded insulation and their accessories for rated voltages from 1kV (Um=1.2kV) up to 30kV (Um=36kV). Specifically, our cables adhere to Part 2, which covers cables for rated voltages of 6kV (Um=7.2kV) and 30kV (Um=36kV).
