- Conductor: At its core are high-quality aluminum (Al) conductors. These conductors are circular and compacted, ensuring efficient electrical flow and reliable performance.
- Conductor Screen: A non-metallic, semi-conducting compound forms the conductor screen. This layer helps to create a smooth electrical field around the conductor, preventing partial discharges.
- Insulation: The cable features robust XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene) insulation. This advanced insulation material provides superior electrical strength, which is essential for medium voltage applications, and contributes to the cable’s high insulation resistance.
- Insulation Screen: An additional non-metallic, semi-conducting compound acts as the insulation screen, working in conjunction with the XLPE to maintain electrical integrity.
