Our NA2XSY – YJLV cable is designed for medium voltage distribution networks. You can install this versatile cable in various settings. It is suitable for indoor use, in tunnels, and in cable trenches. You can also lay it directly in shafts or bury it underground. This cable is ideal for transformer stations and power plants. Industrial plants also benefit from its use. The cable is built to withstand mechanical pressures and certain pulling forces during installation and service.

Description

The NA2XSY – YJLV cable from Gongniu Cable features a robust construction for dependable performance.

Conductor: The cable uses circular compacted aluminum conductors (Class 2). This ensures efficient electrical transmission.
Insulation: Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) provides the main insulation. XLPE offers excellent electrical properties and can handle high temperatures.
Screening System:
- A non-metallic, semi-conducting compound serves as the conductor screen.
- Another non-metallic, semi-conducting compound acts as the insulation screen.
- A Copper Tape Screen (CTS) provides the metallic screen. This system helps maintain a uniform electric field and enhances safety.
Outer Sheath: A tough Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) outer sheath protects the cable. This sheath offers good resistance to grease, oil, and abrasion. It also provides mechanical protection.

This cable offers good electrical and mechanical properties. It features minimal dielectric loss and high insulation resistance.

- IEC 60228: For the conductors of insulated cables.
- IEC 60502-2: For power cables with extruded insulation for rated voltages from 1kV ( $U_m$ =1.2kV) up to 30kV ( $U_m$ =36kV).
